Chipotle Snowball Diving Invitational
We will be hosting the Chipotle Snowball Diving Invitational on January 27-28, 2007 at the Mabee Center at Wm. Jewell College. As you can see we have a new sponsor this year, Chipotle Mexican Grill which is located at 8700 Flintlock Road.

2007 USA Diving JO Spring Region 5 Championships
The Jayhawk Diving Club in Lawrence, KS will also be hosting the Spring Region 5 Championships at the Unversity of Kansas on March 30-April 1. More info will be posted as it's made available to us.

USA Diving Regional Dive Meet
Some of our divers will be attending the USA Diving Regional Dive Meet in Denver, CO this weekend, March 11-12. The divers attending are Tanner Bosch, Joe Doores, Kate Searing and Jake Staves. We wish them the best of luck at this big competition!

Jake Staves Wins at State!
Our own Jake Staves, a Liberty HS Senior, won 1st place this weekend at the Missouri State High School Boys Diving Championships in St. Peters at the Rec-Plex. Jake led all divers with a score of 397.60.
From Mitzi: "It was a great contest. Jake started off slow but took over first place after the 8th dive. The last dive was do well or lose. Jake did a great 401B to win the contest by 4 points. Jake's 9th dive was a great 5233D that probably won the contest for him. He just added it to his list just before the state contest. Jake is the first Twister to ever win the state high school meet, but I expect more to follow!"
If you see him at the pool be sure and congratulate him on a well-deserved victory.
